Lactoferrin:

Iron binding glycoprotein, as a supplement or from high quality dairy foods.

Other antimicrobial/antiviral agents:

Derived from plants, foods etc: Olive leaf extract, goldenseal, Oregon grape root, barberry, elderberry, garlic, Pau d’arco, St. John’s wart, propolis, green and black tea, tea tree oil, lomatium dissectum, variety of essential oils.

Immune system is very complex and it can vary a lot from person to person which biological/nature derived agents will be more effective and which can cause some side effects.

Some herbal immunostimulating therapies can occasionally trigger or exacerbate auto-immune conditions or aggravate inflammatory conditions. It is wise to get an opinion and advise of a physician knowledgable in nutritional and herbal therapies before starting supplementation.
